Over the past year VIDE, in cooperation with Eric Vreedenburgh, was responsible for organising and promoting the Creative City of The Hague during the Business of Design week in Hong Kong. On the invitation of the city of The Hague various creatives and locally based designers participated in the trade mission that was led by Frank Heemskerk, the Dutch Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs. In Hong Kong, the Creative City of The Hague and the Hong Kong Design Institute came to agreement on areas of close cooperation. As a token of appreciation for the creation of this partnership, The Hague delegation presented the 'Worlds of Many' piece to the director of the Hong Kong Design Institute. This imaginative piece, created by designers Archipelontwerpers, consists of six monitors displaying the work of different Hague-based designers. In Hong Kong, the special BoDW edition of 'Design in The Hague' was announced and distributed. The publication was created by Paula Derkse under guidance of Anno Fekkes who was responsible for the editing.
