VIDE receives CCC subsidy!
It was recently announced that VIDE will receive the Creative Challenge Call subsidy for organising the international Creative Company Conference 2007. The Creative Challenge Call, an initiative of the Dutch ministries of Economic Affairs and Education was drawn up by these institutions within the framework of the policy letter 'Our Creative Power’
( www.cultuureneconomie.nl ).
VIDE is organising the conference in co-operation with BIS Publishers, DMN (Design Management Netwerk), Design Indaba and the Dutch design association BNO. It will be held in Amsterdam, on the 31th of March and the 1st of April 2008. The location will be the 'Muziekgebouw aan het IJ'.
The Creative Company Conference is a two day conference focusing on creative entrepreneurship. This first edition is expected to attract 500 visitors, while attendance is expected to increase to 1.200 over coming years.
